ANAS Presidium held a ceremony of signing an agreement on intentions between ANAS and LLC «INTERTELECOM» on 14 February.

Opening the event, President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh spoke about the importance of cooperation with «INTERTELECOM» LLC. He noted that this agreement will contribute to the innovation of national science and development of mutual cooperation between science and industry: "Agreement of Intent will promote innovation and high-tech, relying on modern scientific achievements. Due to the large possibilities of Hi-Tech Park, created by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, we can successfully carry out our innovation activities. I am confident that, working with you, the Azerbaijani scientists will gain a lot of experience. "

Then, the President of LLC «INTERTELECOM» Company Reza Vaziri, who expressed his satisfaction from the visit to the Academy: "In today's world, scientific results are wealth. Today we will sign an agreement that will lay the basis for further scientific advances. Hopefully, as a result of our cooperation we will achieve great success".

In their speeches, the head of Office of Administration of ANAS, PhD in Political Science Fatali Abdullayev and head of the Department of Innovation, Director of the Park of High Technologies, PhD in Agricultural sciences Vugar Babayev told about the significance of the agreement and its future role in the commercialization of science.

Then, the parties signed an agreement of intent. The aim of the document is to identify the necessary areas of cooperation in the formation of the country's science and technology policies, the creation of a national innovation system, the implementation of a number of important projects and programs to improve the existing infrastructure, etc.

The agreement was signed by President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh and President of «INTERTELECOM» Company Reza Vaziri.
