Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan held commemoration dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Khojali Genocide "26- hope".

Head of the Department of External Relations and Research and the mass of the museum Emil Dadashov said in his speech that this tragedy is one of the bloodiest pages of our history.

Chairman of the Department of Art History and Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, Honored Art Worker Hadimi Ziyadhan Aliyev stressed that, the election of Khojali by Armenians as the main target is an integral part of their sound policies.

Then, was demonstrated composition "26-hope" by actors of the Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectator.

Also at the event was the presentation of the picture triptych of the member of Union of Artists and theatrical figures of Azerbaijan, artist Elshan Sarhanogly titeled "26 th hope".

The work of art was donated to the museum.
