Presidium of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch held a regular meeting.

Chairman of Branch Academician Ismayil Hajiyev opened the meeting and acquainted the attendees on the issues of agenda. He informed about latest works done related in preparation of first cover “Geography of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” two-voluminous, stated that the works have been already completed and recently will be launched the second cover of the book.

At the event, scientific secretary of the Institute of Natural Resources of ANAS PhD in Chemistry Assoc. Prof. Ahmad Garayev delivered a lecture on “Processing complex of Daridagh antimony ore”, dealing with antimony ore deposit Daridagh, which is located 9 km to the north of the town of Julfa in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Scientific secretary of the Branch PhD in Philology Akram Huseynzadeh informed members of the Presidium about preparation of historical and ethnographic atlas “Land of Dede Gorgud – Nakhchivan”, stated that atlas is already ready and inspected for the last time.

Later on, Branch has made a decision on holding 110th jubilees of Academician Hasan Aliyev and Professor Mahammadhuseyn Tahmasib.

In closing, some staff problems were scheduled.
