“Childirli Ashug Irfani” book was released by head of Foreign Relations Department of the Institute of Folklore - Ali Shamil.

Scientific editors of the book are PhDs in Philology Elkhan Mammadli Seyfaddin Altayli, editor – Afiz Veysoghlu.

Book compiles poems of Suleyman with pseudonym Ashug Irfani, who had great impact on contemporaries and subsequent ashugs in the region of Akhisga-Childir during XVIII-XIX centuries, for the first time. Book includes saga-legends about the ashug as well.

New edition is intended for teachers of the higher schools, students, specialists, including a wide range of readers interested in folklore topics.
