Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On March 7, at the Main building of ANAS Free Trade Union of Presidium Administration organized an event devoted to 8 March –International Women Day.

Event brought together 13 chairwomen of Trade Unions in the scientific institutions of ANAS.

Chairman of Free Trade Union Professor Isa Aliyev congratulated female associates of ANAS on the occasion of this day. He stressed out the role of women in a society and in a family, and appreciated them as moral supporters. As a result of policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev in all spheres of public life the women have equal opportunities today. A wide range of women's equal participation with men in all areas of the country is an obvious evidence of respect and attention to them at the state level.

In closing, the female employees were presented gifts.
