Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Today, ANAS Presidium hosted next General Meeting of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences (DBMS).

Opening the event, Academician-Secretary of the Department, Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov informed about the issues on the agenda and stated that, the meeting is devoted to discussing the scientific activity of registered candidates for ANAS DBMS active members and corresponding members.

Having brought to the attention that 18 candidates were registered as ANAS active and corresponding members, Academician wished each of them success. He noted that, these titles, considered the top of Azerbaijani science, are appropriated to scientists who carried out extensive research in various scientific fields, enriching science with new knowledge, established well-known scientific schools and having great merits.

Further, each candidate gave detailed information about his activities, achievements and contributions made to the Azerbaijani science.

In conclusion, a wide exchange of views was held on the presentations of candidates.
