Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

"Mesomechanics and the physics of plasticity" monograph by the rector of the National Academy of Aviation, president of the Azerbaijan Academy of Engineering, Academician Arif Pashayev and Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy, active member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Akhad Djanammadov was published.

The work consists of 8 sections, and in general, 511 pages. The reviewer of the book is a laureate of state prizes of the USSR and Russia, academician Boris Gusev.

The monograph reflects the structural and analytical theory of physical mesomechanics and analysis of the stress-strain state of parts of surface layers of structural materials that are charged at the previous stage without being subjected to destruction. The processes of destruction, nonlinearly channeled in a deformed body are described. The results of modeling the electrodynamic features of composite materials are indicated.

The monograph is intended for scientists, graduate students and engineers specialized in the field of fracture mechanics and tribology, as well as senior students of higher technical educational institutions.
