Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Head of the Department of Theoretical Problems of Management of ANAS Institute of Control Systems, Academician Asaf Hajiyev was on a scientific trip to the People's Republic of Bangladesh on March 31- April 3, 2017.

The visit was held by the invitation of Dhaka University of Bangladesh.

Academician A. Hajiyev lectured at the University on the topic "Modern problems of probability theory" and took part in joint research.

The Azerbaijani scientist met with Vice-President of the University, Professor Arefin Sidge and Professor Shibli Rubayat. The meeting exchanged views on important scientific results achieved in recent years.

In conclusion, Academician A. Hajiyev was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the University.

It should be noted that Dhaka University, whose rector is the President of Bangladesh Dr. Abdul Hamid is one of the largest educational institutions in the world.
