Today, the 7th International Conference "Turkic Art, History and Folklore" started its work in the National Museum of Azerbaijan History.

Speaking at the event, the museum's director, academician Naila Velikhanly noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, which have deep roots, common culture and traditions, are at a high level and are becoming stronger every day. The expressions of the great leader of the Turkic world Mustafa Kemal Ataturk "The joy of Azerbaajan - our joy, and our grief - our grief" and the national leader Heydar Aliyev "One nation - two states" testify to the strong relations between the two brotherly countries.

Then the Azerbaijani folk song "Sari Gelin" was performed by the students of the Pedagogical Faculty of the Agri Ibrahim Chechen University.

At the event, reports were heard on the topic of professors Mustafa Severin, Kubra Aliyeva and Osman Kundurajun.

In conclusion, the participants of the conference received awards.

It should be noted that the conference is held within the framework of joint cooperation between the National Museum of Azerbaijan History and the Seljuk University of Turkey. In 2012, for the first time in the museum, the IV International Conference "Turkic Art, History and Folklore" was held.
