Head of the Department of Theoretical Problems of Management of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Academician Asaf Hajiyev took part in the XX Eurasian summit in the city of Istanbul.
At the summit, which was attended by the heads of several states and governments of Europe and Asia, Academician A. Hajiyev spoke in connection with possible methods of combating terrorism, which is the greatest threat to humanity. In his speech, he touched upon the issue of combating terrorism and the refugee crisis that has arisen as a result of the committed terrorist acts.
The scientist noted that the damage caused by terrorism to the world economy is over 400 billion US dollars, and the damage caused by the Armenian aggression to the Azerbaijani economy exceeds 10% of this amount: "If the number of rabies in the world is 1 out of 110 people, then in Azerbaijan This number increases to 1 person out of 9, which should seriously disturb the world community.”
At the end of the summit, Asaf Hajiyev was awarded a special medal of the Marmara Foundation for active activities in various fields.
