First International Forum of Caucasus Studies continued its work at the sessions at ANAS Central Scientific Library runs.

At the meeting, chaired by the Director of the Institute of Caucasus Studies, Professor Musa Gasimli were discussed political and economic processes in the region, the geopolitical ambitions of Armenians and other topical issues.

At the event, Vice President of Georgia National Academy of Sciences, Academician Roin Metreveli noted the importance of a peaceful settlement of military conflicts in the Caucasus.

Next, Full Member of the Society of Great Britain, Central Asia and the Eastern Kingdom Mikhail Baskhanov, Director of the Institute of History of the New Center for Strategic Studies of Turkey, Professor Kamal Chichek, President of the International Center for Geohistorical and Geopolitical Studies of the Caucasus Guram Marhulia and Professor of the University of Costal Carolina Christopher Gunn told about the aggressive policy of Armenians against Azerbaijanis.

The forum will finish its work today.
