Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

An international symposium "History and historicity" was held in the capital of Turkey - Ankara, dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Turkish historian, Professor Khalil Inaljik.

Scientists and researchers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, Albania, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Iraq and Algeria, engaged in the field of history, took part in the event, which was held with the joint organizational support of the Turkish Historical Structure and the University of Gazi.

Our country at the international symposium was represented by Nargiz Aliyeva, Deputy Director for scientific work of the National Museum of the Azerbaijan History, Doctor of historical sciences. The scientist's report "Scientific and Bibliographic Works in Islamic Historiography" aroused great interest of the participants of the event.
