Doctoral student at the University of Helsinki delivered a lecture at the Institute of Economics

On April 20, a doctoral student at the University of Helsinki Matti Ylonen delivered a lecture "From poverty to a prosperous state: the case of Finland" at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.

In his report, the scientist spoke about the development of the Finnish economy. He noted that currently GDP per capita in Finland is 41 thousand 800 dollars, and industrial production is the backbone of the country's economy. He informed that 21.6% of the economy is in machine building and electronics, 10.9% in chemistry, 21.1% in transport, and 13.1% in timber industry.

M.Ylonen stated that Finland is the most stable and secure country in the world, giving importance to gender equality: "Finland is one of the most advanced countries in the world in terms of social development. In this country, free secondary and higher education, funded by the state.”

At the end of the report, the scientist noted that the conditions created by the state for the introduction of innovations and innovations, gave impetus to the development of the private sector.
