April 27, at the Central Scientific Library of ANAS the presentation of the monograph prepared by the Institute of Economics under the title “İS (S) İ - 2015: The potential of liberalism in the economy."

Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, Fikrat Guliyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Azerbaijan University of Cooperation Elnur Sadigov, Secretary of the Azerbaijan State Economic University, and the Institute of Economics took part in the event.

Speaking at the event, Academic Secretary of the Institute, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Rasmiya Abdullayeva noted that the structure she represented took part in the preparation of many important state documents, including strategic road maps for the main sectors of the national economy. R.Abdullayeva said that the leading idea of the presented book is to find a balance between the effective mechanisms of self-regulation of the economy and state regulation. Referring to the importance of the ideas of the book, both for basic and applied research, the scientist noted that the proper definition of liberalism capacity in the economy is the basis for improvement of public welfare.

Then, Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Work, Ph.D. in Economics, assistant professor Allahyar Muradov, who said that the author of the idea of a methodology for measuring and assessing government interventions in the economy is the director of the Institute of Economics, Professor Nazim Imanov. He noted that the new edition also included a report on the research conducted at the institute last year "Index of leftism (correctness) of the economy: an assessment of the level of state regulation of the economy in 62 countries".

At the event, head of the Department of Methodological and Economic Problems of State Regulation of Economics of the Institute of Economics, Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy Mais Gulaliyev, Head of the Department for the Development of Services, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Agil Asadov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications Vusal Gasimli, ASEU Elnur Sadigov and other speakers noted that the book is a valuable contribution of national economic science in world science.
