May 15, an opening ceremony of “Reincarnation – historical exhibits” was held at National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS.

The first step of “Reincarnation – historical exhibits”, which has developed at the museum is the continuation of project “Reincarnation” realized at the Azerbaijan National Art Museum. The project aims to feature how modern artists of Azerbaijan see our culture and history.

Director of the museum Academic Naila Velikhanli expressed her opinions about the exhibitions and highlighted its importance. The exhibition to be lasted until June 2 will feature paintings of modern Azerbaijani artists on culture and ancient history. Thus, the historical exhibits, which are included in golden foundation of the museum and featured at the stationary expo, have been reincarnated by young artist and sculptors with works of avant-garde style so, this exhibition is called “Reincarnation –historical exhibits”.

The exhibition features various art and sculpture works created by artists and sculptors. Aetist and sculptors have created twenty-seven art works which twenty of them are the main.

Presenting historical exhibits in a modern view context paves the way to show their properties, place in the history and artistic design level vividly.

The exhibition will run until June 2.
