Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Dean of Mining and oil department at the Perm National Research Polytecnic University, Dr. Geology-mineralogy, and Prof. Segei Galkin visited Oil-Gas Institute of ANAS.

At the meeting with Vice-Presdient of ANAS, institute’s director, Academic Ibrahim Guliyev, the guest was informed about history and activities of the scientific venture.

Then, Sergei Galkin said that, university represented by him holds scientific researches in the realms of oil and gas deposit exploration, increase methods of oil production, geological study of kerns and hydrodynamic study of wells etc.

In closing, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between two parties. Memorandum intends to carry out joint research works, organize conference and symposium, and attend at the international scientific event and projects, including grants.
