Semi-final stage of “New Idea Contest-2017” was carried out by organization of High Technologies Park of ANAS, Ministries of Education, Economy, Youth and Sports, Transport, Communication and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including several companies.

Semi-final was attended by 35 projects from 148 applicant projects.

During the evaluation by the jury in implementing the ambitious project, the team's knowledge and skills, product and service performance, market potential, competitive and other factors were taken into account.

9 minutes are allocated for the presentation of each project. During the evaluation, the jury members took into account the knowledge and skills of the team that carried out the project, the efficiency of products and services, market potential, competitiveness and other criteria.

June 9, will be the final stage of the competition, after which 5 projects will be announced winners.

It should be noted that the Park of High Technologies of ANAS is the main partner of the "New Idea Contest” held by the Baku University of Engineering since 2013 this year. The purpose of the HTP in sponsoring the competition is to contribute to innovative entrepreneurship, to create the necessary environment for the development of high technologies, to support the country's sustainable social and economic development.

The team that won the first place in the contest will be awarded a cash prize of HTP in the amount of 10,000 manats. In addition, various projects of cooperation in HTP will be offered to successful projects that took part in the competition.
