Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute of the Science History of ANAS, Ph.D in Theology Sabina Nematzade, a leading researcher of this scientific institution, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics Gulsura Mehdiyeva and a junior researcher Aysel Badalova were on a scientific trip to Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasreddin Tusi.

Scientists have obtained materials on the history of physics and astronomy stored in the library and archive of the observatory within the framework of the mission.

Let us note that in accordance with the Order of the President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, in connection with the "Preparation of Essays on the History of Natural Science", the history of astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology and geography is being studied at the Institute of the Science History.
