Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Akif Alizade met with James Ryan, Executive Director of Millers Oils Ltd (United Kingdom), Martin Gouf, Head of the Business Development Department of the company, and Martin Mann, the company's technical director.

At the meeting, Academician Akif Alizadeh told about his visit to Millers Oils Ltd expressed his satisfaction with the conditions created there. He noted that this is the first company in the history of ANAS that will act as a resident of the Academy. Academician Akif Alizade expressed his confidence that cooperation between the Academy and the company "Millers Oils Ltd" will lead to an even greater expansion of applied research in the country. The head of ANAS stressed that a new stage of development of ANAS has started, aimed at implementing innovative projects and producing competitive products.

Executive director of the company James Ryan noted that the company attaches great importance to cooperation with ANAS, and stressed satisfaction with the conditions created in the Park of High Technologies.

At the end of the meeting, Academician Akif Alizadeh presented James Ryan with the appropriate package of documents and a seal, evidencing the company's right to engage in joint production with ANAS as an entrepreneur, and expressed his confidence that further cooperation between the two organizations would be very fruitful.

At the meeting, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, head of the Department of Affairs of ANAS, Doctor of Political sciences Fatali Abdullaev, director of "Science and Technology Park" Limited Liability Company of the ANAS Sanan Abdullayev took part.
