Defense of first magistrates of ANAS was carried out at the Institute of Physics. Defense Council chaired by Professor Shakir Naghiyev included – Doctors of Mathematics-Physics Abasat Isyaev, Bakhshali Guliyev, Dr. Physics Ilham Soltanov, Ph.D in Physics Farhad Khalil-zadeh and Bahram Mehdiyev.

Master defense in “Theoretical and Mathematical Physics" specialization was observed by Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, institute’s institute, Academic Nazim Mammadov, institute’s Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs Academic Javad Abdinov, head of Science and Education Office of the Presidium ANAS, corresponding member Aminagha Sadigov, head of Magistracy Department of the same office, Ph.D in Engineering Huseyn Huseynov.

Bahruz Suleymanli and Nurlan Abbasli have successfully defended their thesis works under guidance of supervisors – Academic Anvar Nahmadov and Dr. Physics-Math Shakir Naghiyev.
