Second year of masters, who successfully completed academic year of 2017, have defended their master’s theses.

The event was attended by the President of ANAS, Academic Akif Alizadeh, Academic-Secretary of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences, Academic Ahliman Amiraslanov, Academic-Secretary of the Division of Chemical Sciences, Academic Dilgam Taghiyev, Academic-Secretary of the Division of Human Sciences, Academic Teymur Karimli, head of Science and Education of the Presidium Administration of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Aminagha Sadigov and head of Magistracy department Ph.D. Engineering, Associate Professor Huseyn Huseynov.

Ayten Hajiyeva, Jamila Bayramova, Banovsha Bannayeva and Gunay Ismayilova defended theses in specialty “Molecular Biology” at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Eynulla Bayramov, Nigar Ibrahimova and Narmin Abdurrahmanova in specialty “Chemical Kinetics and Catalysis” at the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Aynur Imanova, Aysel Sadigova and Ulker Mirzeyeva in specialty “Ancient languages and cultures" at the Institute of Linguistcs.

Undergraduates expressed gratitude to Academic Akif Alizadeh for establishing master studies in ANAS and for care and attention during education.

The graduate students expressed gratitude to Academician Akif Alizadeh for the establishment of the Master's program in ANAS and for the attention and care given to the undergraduates during the period of study. They also expressed confidence that the knowledge and experience gained in the research laboratories of ANAS will play an important role in organizing their more effective activities in the future.

Then, Academic Akif Alizade noted that 2 years ago, 7 people enrolled in 7 specialties in the master's program of the Academy, and this year 87 places were allocated for bachelors. This is the result of President Ilham Aliyev's special attention to science.

The head of ANAS noted that the organization of training in the magistracy gave a powerful impetus to attracting young people to scientific work and accelerated the process of integrating science and education.

Academician A. Alizade, congratulating the graduates of the magistracy, wished them success in their future activities. The scientist expressed readiness to render the necessary assistance to youth in carrying out further research and integration into the world science.

In conclusion, it was decided to award master's degree to the master's degree and issue them with a diploma of distinction in the relevant specialties.
