Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The monograph "Contemporary Society and Ethnocultural Diversity (Ethnological Essays)" was published by the Head of the Department of Ethno-sociological Studies of ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, Doctor of Anthropological Sciences Aliaga Mammadli.

The monograph is devoted to the determination of the factors that determine contemporary ethnic and ethno-cultural processes and the level of their influence. The book also provides a broad place for explaining the content and forms of the influence of innovations that have arisen in the course of these processes on traditional culture.

The publication includes such ethnological essays as "Ethnic Culture in Azerbaijan in the Context of Globalization", "Peculiarities of the Formation of the Ethnic Identity of Azerbaijanis in the Soviet Time", "The Main Directions of the Modern Ethnic Policy in Azerbaijan", "Ethnosociological Studies in the Polyethnic Regions of Azerbaijan" "Ethnic panorama of the Gakh region" and others.

The monograph is intended for ethnologists, ethnopsychologists, political scientists, as well as a wide readership.
