Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Central Scientific Library (CNB) held a presentation, dedicated to the digitization of the collection of the Hungarian scientist-Turkologist Georg Hazai.

At the event, Director of the CSL, Doctor of philosophy in medicine Leyla Imanova said that, at the structure run by her important work on digitization of documents is carried out. It was noted that, the CNB Digitization Department has the ability to digitize any document in PDF and Word format and creates conditions for leafing through books in video format.

Then, the head of the Digitization Department Elmar Guliyev spoke about the process of work. He noted that, books, cleared of fingerprints are scanned with high-quality equipment and digitized. He noted that, in general, 5000 documents were digitized, including 1000 books, magazines, personal collections from the Rare Foundation, 250 - National Digital Memory, including 2500 abstracts and dissertations.
