Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

By organization of ANAS Institute of Petrochemical Processes (IPP) started two-day its work International Scientific and Technical Conference on "Petrochemical Synthesis and Catalysis in Complex Condensed Systems", dedicated to 100th anniversary of the Honored Worker of Science, Academician Bahadur Zeynalov.

Conference attended by Well-known scientists from England, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, Academician Vagif Abbasov spoke about the scientific work of a prominent scientist, as well as his merits in the production of synthetic petroleum acids and other valuable substances by oxidation of petroleum hydrocarbons in the liquid phase and in the creation of plasticizers on their basis. He noted that the main purpose of the conference is to highlight the role of the world-famous scientist in the development of petrochemical science, the integration of scientific research conducted in the world, and the definition of joint priorities.

Then, correspondent member of ANAS Eldar Zeynalov delivered a paper on the life path and scientific B.Zeynalov’s activity.

At the event, a documentary about Academic’s activity was demonstrated.

The conference continued its work on the sections "Petrochemistry and oil refining", "Organic catalysis", "Polymer materials and composites".
