Professor at Hebrew University of Israel, Shela Gorinstein visited Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS.

At the meeting with the director of the institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS Zeynal Akperov, issues of joint research, participation in international and local projects and personnel training were discussed.

Later S.Gorinstein acquainted with the course of research conducted in the laboratories of Biotechnology, Technical cultures, Technology and Biochemistry of the Institute. At the Institute's scientific seminar, the Israeli scientist also made a presentation on "Food and pharmacological importance of bioactive substances in some tropical fruits."

In conclusion, an agreement was reached in connection with the practice of young researchers at the University of Hebrew, including a joint study of medicinal plants and fruit crops in Azerbaijan.
