Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

An international scientific conference on "Operators and Applications in Morris Space" dedicated to director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, correspondent member of ANAS, Vagif Guliyev’s 60th anniversary was held at Ahi Evran (Kirshehir) University of Turkey.

More than 100 scientists from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Anglia, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Japan, India, Iran, Pakistan, Tunisia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan participated at the conference.

Speaking at the meeting, the rector of the University of Ahi Evran, Professor Vatan Karakaya commented that V.Guliev had a special role in mathematical science of the world.

Institute of Mathematics named after S.M.Nikolsky attached to Peoples' Friendship University of Russia , Professor Viktor Burenkov, stated that, Azerbaijani studies have carried out a number of research studies aimed at solving the problematic mathematical theory.

Professor of Ankara University Aykhan Sherbetchi noted that such similar activities are of great importance to the interconnection of interconnected scientific contacts.

In the event, Professor Vatan Karakaya presented the commemorative gift to Vagif Guliev.
