Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In 2013, researches were carried out near Mingechaur water reservoir by Ganja-Kazakh expedition of Institute of Archeology and Ethnographyunder Azad Zeynalov's leadership. Expedition included scientific secretary of Institute of History of Material Culture of Russian Academy of Sciences, archaeologist Sergei Kulakov (St. Petersburg), employee of Institute of Geology of Dagestan, geologist Idris Idrisov ( Makhachkala ), employees of Institute of Geology and Geophysics Heybatov Tariel , Ilgar Mustafayev and Teymur Mustafayev.

A.Zeynalov and SKulakov’s “New acheulian monument in Azerbaijan” report was listened.

At the end, Paleolithic department adopted a resolution about conducting archeological researches in high level.
