"Science and Education" publishing house published book by Lala Hajiyeva, PhD on philology a monograph " Russian-speaking period of Azerbaijan (1871-1918)".

The monograph is the first professional research devoted to the complex, comprehensive study, analysis and summarization of the history and development of the Russian-language press in Azerbaijan.

The main purpose of the monograph was to clarify the initial conditions of the establishment and spread of Russian-language media in the region, to reveal its formation and development, and to demonstrate the peculiarities of the policy of the tsarist Russian state media on the background of the social and political changes that took place as a result of the occupation of Azerbaijan by the Russian Empire.

The scientific adviser of the monograph is Doctor of philological sciences, Professor Shamil Valiyev.
