Executive power of Binagadi district held "information hour" on "Heydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani language: in the context of state building" on August 24.

At the event, organized by support of the Executive power of Binagadi district and the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan were provided information on the "information hour" program.

Then, Director of ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi, Academician Mohsun Nagisoylu delivered report on "Heydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani language: in the context of state building".

The scientist noted that, language is the main guarantee of the existence of each people. The native language of the Azerbaijani people is one of the main factors determining its national identity. The Azerbaijani language, which has an ancient history, is our greatest spiritual treasure.

M.Nagisoylu also spoke about the invaluable merits of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in declaring the Azerbaijani language the state language of our country.

It was noted that, after the relevant decree of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, implementation of works on the application of our native language has been begun at a more advanced level.

All printed works on documentation in our republic were carried out on the Latin alphabet.

He stressed that, the language policy, the basis of which was laid by the national leader, is now being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
