Presidium of ANAS Nakhchivan Division held the next meeting.

The chairman of the Department, Academician Ismail Hajiyev, who opened the event, informed the audience about the work on issues on the agenda.

At the event, the scientific report by the Ph.D in Biology of the Institute of Bioresources, assistant professor Akif Bayramov on "Fauna of crustaceans in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" listened. It was noted that, the first information on the fauna of crustaceans in Nakhchivan dates back to the beginning of the last century. The fauna of crustaceans of the autonomous republic is divided into 4 classes, 10 groups, 28 families, 53 genera and 88 species and subspecies.

It was brought to the attention that of 2 invertebrate species of crayfish are dry, and the remaining species - the water way of life. The scientist said that cancers are widespread in all water bodies from the Priaraz lowland up to the high-mountain belts: "38 species of primitive cancers of zooplankton fauna occurring in the Araz reservoir are of great interest from the biological and economic point of view. They are food for fish that live in this reservoir".

Then the head of the Laboratory of Chemistry and Technology of Mineral Resources of the Institute of Natural Resources of the Department, Ph.D in Chemistry, Associate Professor Gorkhmaz Huseynov informed about the current state of work carried out in the laboratory. He said that this year 4 books, 52 scientific works (34 of them abroad) were published by the laboratory staffs, 9 of them were published in journals with impact factor. Employees of the laboratory received 3 patents, and 37 articles are sent to print.

At the meeting, Academician Ismail Hajiyev informed the participants about the increase in tariff rates for the director of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of the branch, correspondent member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev and Director of the Institute of Natural Resources, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aladdin Abbasov.

The next issue included in the agenda was related to the introduction of changes in the tariff schedule of the senior research officer of the Department of Music and Theater of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, Ph.D. in art criticism, Associate Professor Alekper Gasymov, as well as the upgrading of the post and the degree of the Unified Tariff Grid Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Nargiz Ismailova.

At the meeting, by the decision of the Presidium Doctor of Philosophy on Art Studies of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, Associate Professor Ali Gahramanov was appointed as Head of the Department of Music and Theater, Ph.D. in Philology Ali Gashimov - Scientific Secretary of the Institute.

In conclusion, a number of current issues were considered.
