Oguz District Executive Power and Sheki Regional Culture and Tourism Department organized "Shafa" holiday for the first time in Oguz. The festive event held in the city recreation park demonstrated medicinal herbs of forests, mountains and plains of Oghuz, Shaki, Gakh, Zagatala and Balakan regions, as well as mineral water, vegetable products, jams and juices made at home.

Employees of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS also attended the event. The samples of 10 types of foodstuffs, prepared by the Center for 82 species of medicinal herbs, 19 species of herbal and therapeutic properties, were welcomed by holiday attendees and tourists.

At the end of "Shafa" holiday, employees of the Sheki Regional Scientific Center were awarded with Honorary Decree.
