Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The 3rd International Turkish World Conference on Chemical Sciences and Technologies has started at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on September 11.

Professor Mustafa Babanli, Rector of ASOIU, opened the event with participation of scientists and specialists from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, USA, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries. In his speech, the scientist said that national leader Heydar Aliyev always attached great importance to science, education and that the ideas of the great leader were persistently maintained by the President Ilham Aliyev.

M.Babanli gave information about the activity of the company led by him. He also stressed the importance of the conference.

Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Academician Dilgam Tagiyev said that the 13th European Catalysis Congress was held in Florence, Italy and he participated in this international event. The scientist said that a large number of scholars from Islamic countries participated in the congress. Effective research was carried out in different fields of science, including in the field of chemistry in Turkish-speaking countries, and successful results were achieved.

Member of the Milli Majlis Aydin Mirzazade, Professor of Turkish Sakarya University Ahmed Tutar and others spoke about the important role of science, education in the progress of the society and wished success to the conference.

An appeal was received to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then lectures on various subjects, chemical sciences and technologies, researches in this field, scientific achievements were discussed.
