Scientists of ANAS will teach chemistry to Surakhani schoolchildren

Surakhani district Heydar Aliyev Center, Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after Y.Mammadaliyev and Surakhany District Executive Authority signed an agreement on cooperation.

According to the agreement, scientists from the Institute of Petrochemical Processes will prepare 15 students from different low-income families who choose I group from 15 September 2017 in chemistry subject. Institute's scientists will conduct chemistry classes with pupils two times a week at Heydar Aliyev Center of the district. Meetings with well-known academics of the Institute will be organized and scholars will pass the master classes. Students will get acquainted with the work done at the institute's laboratories once a month. Students will be provided with additional training materials by the institute. Test quizzes will be held once every quarter for the purpose of checking the level of preparation by the institute's scientists.

Ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Surakhani district.

The participants of the event first visited the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the head of the executive power, Ilgar Abbasov, spoke about the attention and care of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva. Ilgar Abbasov noted that, as in all spheres of Azerbaijan's socio-political life over the past 14 years, serious progress has been made in the education system.

Then, academician Vagif Abbasov gave his recommendations to the pupils and chemistry teachers.

Finally, questions of the pupils and teachers were answered.
