At the meeting of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences on September 22, four legal entities were granted the status of resident of ANAS High Technology Park (HTP).

In his speech at the event President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh recalled that at the last meeting of the Expert Council looked through the applications of the heads of the Experimental and Industrial Plant of ANAS, “Millers-Oils Azerbaijan” LLC, “Park of Science and Technologies” LLC and “Agro Bio Eco Tech” LLC and a secret ballot took place to obtain the status of a resident of HT Park. In accordance with the results of the vote, an appropriate decision was made on granting the status of a resident of the "HT Park" to the applicants, academician noted.

The meeting talked about the activities of organizations registered as a resident of the "HT Park". It was noted that the Experimental and Industrial Plant of ANAS, adopted as a resident, produces about 70 types of oils that meet modern requirements. Established in 1974, the plant is the first and only pilot-experimental institution of this type in the country. The main task of the plant is to establish a direct link between science and production and the mastering of new technological processes in the experimental and pilot-industrial scale. The plant has installed equipment that makes it possible to produce lubricants that meet world standards and created a modern laboratory pilot complex. The products produced here are intended for the domestic and foreign markets. For medical purposes, the plant also produces naphthenic oils.

Millers Oils, one of the founders of “Millers oils Azerbaijan” LLC, is one of the leading companies in the United Kingdom, which has been operating for 130 years. The company "Millers Oils", closely cooperating with ANAS, is engaged in the production of premium-class motor oils known throughout the world. The main goal of the establishment of Millers Oil Azerbaijan LLC by Millers Oils in our country is to expand the production of oil products meeting international standards. The company is aimed at meeting the country's needs in this area, as well as distributing its motor oils through Azerbaijan to the markets of Eastern and Central Asia.

"Science and Technology Park" LLC is engaged in the production of electronics, automation, software, defense and civil applications, drones and other electronic devices. The drones produced by the company are used by the Academy institutes in the conduct of scientific research. The main goal of the LLC is to carry out research and development work in the field of creation, development and improvement of innovative products and high technologies.

Agro Bio Eco Tech LLC, which is the next resident, has been producing environmentally friendly food products for agriculture of Azerbaijan for 25 years. The company, which produces organic and organomineral fertilizers, operates using new technologies. Here, funds are being made for ecological and biological pest control, organic and organomineral supplements and biologics. Technologies, microorganisms and probiotics produced by Agro Bio Eco Tech Ltd. are widely used in Hungary. Currently, the company's subsidiaries operate in Turkey, Hungary, Germany, Latvia and Russia. The company's products are used in growing products in greenhouses, as well as growing lawns, trees and shrubs.

After the discussions, a resolution was passed on granting the status of residents to applicants. Academician Akif Alizadeh congratulated the heads of legal entities and wished them success in their future activities. Taking into account the activities of these organizations aimed at the production of science-intensive and high-tech products, the academician expressed his confidence that these structures will be able to purposefully take advantage of the privileges and privileges stipulated in domestic legislation and will play an important role in the development of the economy of the republic.
