Director of ANAS Institute of Petrochemical Processes after Academician Yu. Mammadaliyev, Academician Vagif Abbasov, Deputy Director for scientific work, Doctor of engineering sciences Tarana Mammadova and leading scientific employee of this scientific institution, Doctor of engineering sciences Gulbeniz Mukhtarova were on a scientific trip to the Institute of Petroleum Research of Egypt on 18-22 September 2017.

Within the framework of the visit, Azerbaijani scientists got acquainted with the research laboratories and production sites of the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute. Then, wide exchanges of views took place and were determined directions for joint cooperation. The agreement on signing of the contract on joint cooperation with participation of the Egyptian scientists in November of this year in Baku has been reached.
