Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS and the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held the first interactive open lesson for pupils of secondary schools of the autonomous republic.

The students were informed about the history of the formation of the Azerbaijani language in the lesson on the topic of "The place and historical development stages of the Azerbaijani language in world languages" by Firudin Rzayev, the head of the Department of Onomastics of the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature.

Firudin Rzayev talked about the great services of national leader Heydar Aliyev in proclaiming the Azerbaijani language as the state language in the lesson followed by 200 students of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. He said that as a result of the wise policy of the genius leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan has made progress, its economy, science, education and culture have grown and the Azerbaijani language has reached the level of the state language.

Stressing the importance of the documents signed by our national leader Heydar Aliyev, the speaker recalled that, as a result of the language policy pursued by the great leader, the state language, literally, was established in all state and non-governmental organizations. The transition to Latin graphics has been completed. The language policy of prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev is a real school in the development of our mother tongue and will always be used in this practice.
