Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Presidium held a meeting with directors and undergraduates of a number of scientific institutions dedicated to the discussion of topics of student’s theses entered to the ANAS Masters in this year on October 9.

At the event, ANAS President, Academician Akif Alizadeh noted that, for training at a magistracy step up-to-date it is necessary to choose topics for dissertations that correspond to the priority tasks and requirements facing science.

Academician stressed that, it is important to link the formulation of the problem in the dissertation work with the current trends in the development of science. Also, ANAS President recommended to discuss the topics in institutions in detail before giving them to undergraduates.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place and proposals were put forward on such issues as improvement of the educational process, methods of writing master's works, etc.
