Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The International Mugham Center hosted solemn evening in honor of the 90th anniversary of the well-known writer and publicist, Honored Journalist, Chevalier of the Order "Shohrat" Ali Ildirimoglu.

At the opening of the evening the Azerbaijan Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev congratulated Ali Ildyrymoglu on his 90th anniversary, noted his significant contribution to the development of national culture, literature and journalism, highly appreciated the great merits in preserving the purity of his native language, wished further creative successes.

It was noted that, his works reflected the centuries-old traditions, world outlook, way of life and way of life and feelings of the people. The theme of Karabakh and patriotism occupies a special place in the writer's work, and his boundless love for his native land is manifested in every work. Minister emphasized that, the glorious path of Ali Ildirimoglu is a vivid example for the youth.

The deputy of Milli Majlis, ANAS Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, Academician Rafael Huseynov noted that, one of the patriarchs of the national literature Ali Ildirimoglu absorbed all the best qualities of the people and a significant event is the fact that he was born on November 17 - on the Day of National Revival of Azerbaijan.

Head of the Executive Power of Gubadli district Malik Isagov congratulated the Ali Ildirimoglu on behalf of the community of the region where he was born.

At the event, was demonstrated documentary about the life and work of Ali Ildirimoglu. Announcer of the evening was People's Artist Nureddin Mehdihanli. Guests were demonstrated a concert program by the participation of the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra after Gara Garayev under the guidance of the conductor, People's Artist Teymur Goychayev. In conclusion, Ali Ildırımoglu expressed gratitude to the organizers and guests of the event.
