"Turkic Speaking Countries Congress" was held in Ankara, Turkey.

320 scholars from 40 countries took part in the event organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and the New Turkey Strategic Research Center.

The event was attended by Director of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi, academician Mohsun Nagisoylu, deputy director on scientific affairs, PhD in Philology Baba Maharramli, Head of Terminology Department, Professor Sayali Sadigova, Head of Educational Department Gatiba Guliyeva and more than 20 employee of BSU, ASPU and BSU participated at the event.

At the conference, Mohsun Nagisoylu delivered a lecture on "Language conformity in the Middle Persian-Turkic translations".

At the panel sessions, the revival of Turkic-speaking culture, strengthening of Turkism's ideology, the reforms carried out by the International Turkish Academy in the field of joint Turkish language textbooks, the protection of the Turkish language in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other issues were discussed.
