Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Young scientists of the Institute of Genetic Resources - PhDs in Biology Samira Salayeva and Javid Ocagi attended training at Department of Plant Patology of French National Institute for Agricultural Research for a month.

The course was implemented within the framework of " STONE " project and pilot project " Strengthening the material-technical base of fundamental research in the direction of efficient use of genetic diversity of Azerbaijan’s land and the plant”.

Scientists for the first time made researches in order to determine analysis of crude product gained as a result of nucleotide sequences of whole genome of plant organism via bioinformatic and biostatic methods by means of next-generation sequencer.( Ion PGM and Ion Proton ).
