Correspondent member of ANAS Selahaddin Khalilov presented book "Romantic poetry in the context of East and West problematic" devoted to the work of prominent orientalist Aida Imanguliyeva translated into Serbian at the Belgrade University.

The book was translated into Serbian by Zarifa Aliyeva, Director of the Azerbaijan Center for Culture in Serbia and Professor of the Novi Sad Art Academy.

Speaking at the event, Professor Z.Alizadeh expressed confidence that, the book on the creativity of Professor A.Imanguliyeva is one of the first researchers of Arabic literature in Azerbaijan, would be of interest to the Orientalist scholars and researchers of Serbia.

The author of the book is сcorresponding member of ANAS S.Khalilov said that, the presentation of the publication in Belgrade, where the West and East meets is not accidental. He brought to the attention that, A.Imanguliyeva's research was focused on studying a new direction - the process of integration of East and West.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor of the Belgrade University Angela Mitrovic, Emma Milkovich and Mirjana Marinkovich noted that, the book presented to the public will make a new contribution to the scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia.
