Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Prof. Abdulrahim al-Kurdi, Professor of Egyptian University of Suez Canal, Mustafa Mohammed Omiri, famous calligrapher and Ahmed Sami Elaydi, Chairman of the Egyptian Cultural Center in Azerbaijan visited the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Z.Bunyadov of ANAS.

During the meeting with the director of the institute, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, the guests were informed about the history, structure and scientific directions of the enterprise.

Then Professor Abdulrahim al-Kurdi talked about the history of Arabic language, the difficulties of using the Arabic alphabet on computers, and his international activity in this direction.

At the event, Mustafa Muhammad Omiri talked about calligraphy and presented the name of the Institute of Oriental Studies, written in a specific way, to the institute. Other calligraphic works of M. Omari were also shown at the meeting.
