Professor of the Suez Canal University Abdulragim al-Kurdi and well-known calligrapher of the Egyptian Institute of Manuscripts under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Muhammad Omari visited ANAS Institute of Manuscripts after Muhammad Fizuli.
At the meeting Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Research, Doctor of Philology Aibeniz Aliyeva-Kengerli were given information guests about the international relations of the institution and the projects implemented at the institute within the framework of the Year of Islamic Solidarity.
Professor Abdulrahim al-Kurdi spoke about manuscripts and their specific features. He noted that, humanity has overcome three stages in connection with manuscripts: written, spoken and spoken. The scientist played an important role in the preservation of Arab manuscripts of the Arab-Islamic culture.
Further on, Muhammad Omari praised scientists as heroes who preserve the ancient civilization. He said that he had copied the Holy Quran manuscript from 4 copies and presented a sample from the rewritten manuscript to the institute.
In conclusion in the exhibition hall the guests got acquainted with samples of manuscripts, calligraphy and miniatures, and also left a note in the book of memory.
