Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS and the University of Montpellier of France signed a framework agreement on cooperation in the field of dissertations and financing in Paris.

The agreements were signed by ANAS President, Academician Akif Alizadeh and the vice-president for international relations of the University of Montpellier Francois Henne.

According to the agreements, Azerbaijani youth, along with ANAS, will have an opportunity to get a doctorate at the University of Montpellier in the field of biomedicine and energy. At the end of the training, young scientists will receive diplomas from both educational institutions.

Note that, this is the first agreement on cooperation between the two countries in the field of doctoral education.
