Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book " Gazigulu Monuments" by  staff of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS - PhDs on history Shamil Najafov, Anar Agalarzade and Vagif Asadov has been published. The book is dedicated to the results of archaeological and epigraphic studies carried out in 2007-2009 in the village Gazigulu of the Tovuz region in connection with the construction of Tovuzchay water reservoir.

The new publication reflects the success of archaeological research that has enriched our people's material heritage with the latest Bronze - early Iron Age and material culture examples from the Middle Ages. The works include photographs and graphic descriptions of the monuments and artifacts.

Book are intended for a wide range of readers interested in the history of Azerbaijan.
