Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The event was organized by the Institute of History at the Main Building of ANAS on February 2 - Youth Day.

Director of the Institute of History, Academician Yagub Mahmudov spoke about the Youth Day and said that celebration of this day is a tradition in our country.

The scientist spoke about the great way of development Azerbaijan has made in recent years. He called on young people to take up the history, fulfill their duty in the field of protection of our independence.

It was noted that the formation of state youth policy in Azerbaijan is closely linked to the name of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The great leader attached great importance to the development of a healthy youth in all periods of leadership.

Rashad Mustafa, chairman of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council of the History Institute, said that about 40 young scientists work at the institute.Head of newly established public relations and education departments are young people, and that young scientists of the institute participated in 24 international scientific conferences in 2017, R.Mustafa lined out.

Other speakers congratulated young scientists on February 2 - Youth Day and wished them success in their activities.

Finally, a group of young scholars were awarded Honorary decrees.
