Scientific article of the leading researcher of the Department of Financial and Monetary Policy of ANAS Institute of Economy, Ph.D. in Economy Sulduz Salimov is published in the Italian journal with a high impact factor "European Journal of Sustanable Development".

In the article "Economic Aspects of Energy Indicators of Sustainable Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan", economic aspects of the most important energy indicators of sustainable development of our country were carefully studied on the basis of the UN methodology.

The author brings to attention that, since 1987 - the spread of the Brundtland report on "Our Common Future", a variety of international and national organizations to develop a set of indicators for measuring and evaluating sustainable development. This article also notes that the development of a national strategy for sustainable development should also take into account the energy indicators of the country's sustainable development.
