The Institute of Physics of ANAS hosted a seminar on "Contemporary negative ion sources".
The event was opened by head of the Laboratory Infrared photoelectronics and plasma phenomena, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Ilham Hasanov, who told about the world famous specialist in the field of ion sources Vadim Dudnikov.
Speaking about V.Dudnikov, Hasanov said that, the scientist worked for a long time as a laboratory director at the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Novosibirsk, Russia, as well as head of the Department of General Physics.
He pointed out that, the work of negative ion sources proposed by V.Dudnikov in 1971 was widely used in various laboratories of the world.
