Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

According to the Action Plan approved by the order of the head of Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, for the first time in Azerbaijan, the "Short Islamic Encyclopedia" was prepared and printed for children and adolescents.

Editorial staff includes Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli, chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, academicians Isa Habibbeyli, Vasim Mammadaliyev, Govhar Bakhshaliyeva and others.

The main purpose of the encyclopedia is to protect our national-moral values ​​for centuries in a tolerant and multicultural environment, shaped in our country and the lifestyle of the people, the prevention of religious radicalism, extremism, discrimination, and the moral and spiritual qualities of young people.

An encyclopedia of about 750 articles has been studied in many countries, and the principles of loyalty, accuracy and objectivity have been taken into account.
