Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Azerbaijan Augusto Massari, Vice President of Innovation Strategy of the Italian company "Kinetics Technology" Gaetano Yakuanello and Professor of the University of Rome - Tor Vergata Massimiliano Barletta visited the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.

Aygyun Safarova, head of the Department of Library-Service of the CSL, told the guests about the history and activities of the library.

The Italian guests got acquainted with the auxiliary funds and reading rooms of the CNB, as well as with the specimens stored in the Rare Books Foundation.

In addition, Ambassador Augusto Massari noted that the funds needed to create an Italian corner in the diplomatic fund of the CSL, where a diplomatic representation of about 20 countries are represented, will be submitted to the library in the near future.

Then, guests got acquainted with the exhibitions "Heydar Aliyev - 95", "Azerbaijan Democratic Republic - 100", "Ilham Aliyev", "Khojaly genocide" and "Genocide on March 31".
